  • Overview

    As an Operations Support Specialist you will work directly with several Account Managers to assist in supporting a large base of existing customers, manage shipments, and work to develop relationships with LTL carriers.  We are looking for an individual who works well in a diverse environment and has the ability to assess needs, prioritize and accomplish individual, team and company goals. This position will report directly to the LTL Operations Supervisor.


    The responsibilities for this position include but not limited to:


    • Scheduling and coordinating freight pickups.
    • Tracking and tracing in-transit shipments.
    • Resolving transit delays.
    • Researching and resolving invoicing discrepancies.
    • Accepting load tenders, and building new orders.
    • Assisting in the coverage for account managers out of the office. 


    • Has a strong background in administrative support and customer service.
    • Ability to assist in improving customer relations.
    • Organized and effective under pressure.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to be successful in a fast paced environment with rapidly changing priorities.
    • Problem solving and analytical skills.
    • Attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Proficiency in windows-based systems, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
    • Ability to network with carriers and establish rapport.
    • Self-motivated and goal oriented.
